Harmony, PA historic renovation

This striking two story porch provides shade and elegance.

A metal roof was added for authentic period detail.

The living room walls and ceiling were repaired.
Crown molding was added,
and this corner cabinet piece was custom made.

A reclaimed attic type space that had not been used in years
is now warm and cozy master bedroom.

The ceiling features tongue and groove painted wood.

The floors are cedar, original to this 1897 house.
To save the cost of replacement, the dust of sanding,
and to create the look desired by this homeowner, the floors were painted,
distressed and a border was stenciled around the perimeter.
The floor then received a coat of poly to retain this look for years to come.
